Théo grew up in the Rocky Mountains. What he carried out of that childhood wasn't a love of scenery — it was an instinct for what lies underneath things, and a strange comfort with what most people spend their lives avoiding.
He spent years working closely with people in crisis before he ever had a name for what he was actually doing. The name came later, from the Four Winds Society, and from a lineage that doesn't explain itself quickly. What he learned there wasn't technique. It followed him to Chile, and further, into the Sacred Valley, where it stopped being something he knew and became something he simply carries.
Ayni — right relationship — is the only word he offers for what the work asks of a person.
Their knowledge was never written down. It moves person to person, season to season — offered only when it's ready to be received.
It is a returning: of the person to themselves, and of the self to its rightful place among mountain, spirit, and the living world that has been waiting, this whole time, to be in relationship with us again.
The mountain does not rush. Neither does this work.
